3 Year stats

Hailey had her 3 year check and in keeping with the 3 theme, she weighs 30 pounds and is 3 feet tall! She had her blood pressure taken, peed in a cup, and got one shot :( When the nurse gave her the shot she just sat and watched, no flinching or crying.

2 Month Stats

Gavin weighed in at 10 lbs. 10 oz and 23.5 inches long. Brynn was 8 lbs. 11 oz and 22.5 inches long. Both babies are smiling like crazy and began cooing at about 10 weeks. Hailey is such a good big sister. She hangs on to their carseats when mama drives crazy in the car, puts away bottles, gives them binkies, picks out their clothes and loves to tell us when they are crying (as if we didn't know).

Big Sister!!!

Hailey has finally become a big sister! She is so proud to have Gavin and Brynn join our family. The twins were born on Easter Sunday, April 8,2012 at 4:30 and 4:31pm. Just as we were sitting down to dinner my water broke. Ryan and I rushed off to the hospital and Hailey continued to eat her ham! Gavin Cole was 5 lbs. 13 oz and 19.5 inches long. Brynn Graysen was 5 lbs. 11 oz and 19 inches long.

Hanging out with dad

Ryan has been taking Hailey out on little adventures during the weekend. Hailey loves her one-on-one time with daddy! They have taken Diesel on walks down by the river, gone fishing, and even just hung out in the garage. On the day they went for a walk by the river, Hailey was wearing her snowboots and instead of walking by the water, she walked in it. She had such a blast. While Ryan was loading up Diesel to head home, she took over the driving and thought it was great to sit in the front seat of the truck. Ryan also bought Hailey her first, pink, Barbie fishing pole. It has been love at first sight. Hailey spent an entire evening "practicing" casting and reeling in the "fish" before Ryan took her down to the pond.

We went to Bauman Farms this year and had a great time! Hailey jumped on the big pillow, went down the slide, rode the hay wagon, tasted apples and picked out her pumpkin. Papa even spoiled her with an apple cider donut! And of course we couldn't leave without getting on the swings. We didn't even have to trek very far into the field, she pretty much picked the first one she found...and then proceeded to pick 2 more.

Easter

We had a great Easter this year. Hailey really got into the spirit of things and searched the front yard for eggs with cousins Grace, Hannah and Zach. Her favorite part of the Easter basket was the grass and she strung it all over the house!

New Washer

Who knew that our new washer would keep Hailey mesmorized. We wash her diapers in hot water and she loves to put her face up to the little "window" and feel the warmth. She screams out "bubbles!" repeatedly during the wash cycle. She even sat in front of the washer with her snack-cup and watched the clothes go round and round.

Snow!!!!

A few weeks ago we had a very small and very short lived snow storm. Hailey loved it! We went outside and the neighbor's grandaughter was playing outside too. The girls had a fabulous time together and when it was time to go inside Hailey threw a fit. Later in the afternoon we got another short round of snow, Hailey watched it from the window. When Ryan got home we went outside for more playtime.

Sisters

We had a great trip to Sisters! Hailey loved her rubber boots and refused to take them off even for bath time! On Saturday we visited with Cole. Hailey ran around the park next to his house and played with Hank. We tried to visit the Deschutes Brewery but Turtle was done! No tour for us...maybe next time. She also got to eat donuts for breakfast, YUM! On the way home she was wiggling so much in the carseat that her hair started to stand up from all of the static.

Skinned Knees

Hailey got her first skinned knee, times 2. Poor thing! We were walking across the street to get the mail and she thought it would be great to run...and then the obvious happened. OUCH! She only cried for a minute. Tonight (1 day later) she has little bruises on her palms from where her hands hit the pavement :(

Waiting for Daddy

Ryan has been working a lot of night shifts over the last few months. It is very rare for Hailey to see him in the evening. On this particular night, I knew Ryan was going to be home early. I saw the van go past the front window and told Hailey, "Daddy's home!" She ran to her little windo by the front door and waited. She was so excited to see his face come around the corner.

Bath Time with Diesel

During Hailey's bath, Diesel started barking at me for water. Of course I couldn't leave her in the tub so I scooped up some water and let him drink from my hand. Shortly after that Diesel jumped in the tub and started lapping up the sudsy water. Hailey didn't even blink an eye about sharing her space with him, she just kept organizing her toys on the ledge.
