Tooth #2
Hailey now has two teeth on the bottom. I'm not really sure how we didn't notice the second one coming in, but it's here! She wasn't cranky, snotty or bothered by this one. I'm not sure how long it would have been there before we noticed, but she bit me and the tooth seemed misplaced. I looked in her mouth and amazingly tooth number two was there. Hopefully the many more teeth that still need to arrive will do so as painless as number two.

My first tooth!!
Woo Hoo! Hailey's tooth is finally here. Although it is still very tiny and you can't actually see much, it is there. If you put your finger in her mouth you can feel the top of it. It has poked through the gum and will hopefully continue to grow. She seems to be much happier now that it has poked all the way through.
I must say this has been one of the most frustrating processes so far. The tooth is here, oh wait it's gone. Here, gone, here, gone. I feel confident in saying that the tooth is not going to disappear again. I think it has been consistently poking out for about 2 days now. If it does disappear than I think I will be more disappointed than Hailey.

I'm a sitter!
Hailey has been sitting for the last few weeks! As long as she has something within arms reach she is content to sit and play. She is learning to keep an eye on the boys now that she is the perfect height for licking and getting smacked in the face with their tails.
She seems to really enjoy her new independence. Yeah for her, sad for us. I just can't believe how quickly she is growing up. Her little legs are chunking up rather quickly and she will only be able to use her Bumbo seat for a few more weeks.

My first Christmas
So we have officially survived Hailey's first Christmas. She handled the crazy schedule, the dressing up, posing for pictures and the naps in strange places very well. She even got into the spirit of things and woke up at 6 am Christmas morning to see what Santa had left for her. She ripped off the wrapping paper to find new toys, clothes and books. Here are just a few of my favorite pictures. Thank you everyone for your wonderful gifts.
Hailey can officially roll from her tummy to her back but only when she wants to and never we try and show off her newly acquired skill. She is working on sitting up and does really well as long as she has something to play with. Otherwise she ends up staring at the ground and getting mad. Such a picky one!

My Jumper
Hailey has fallen in love with her jumper. I think she could spend the whole day in this thing. One evening as she was playing she took an extreme interest in the dogs. She was enthralled with everything they were doing and soon began to laugh at them. The boys were playing fetch and every time they got close to Hailey she began to laugh. The first video is her playing and the second is of her laughing (this is poor picture quality but turn up the volume and listen).

Squeak, Squeak!
Hailey is still working on that first tooth, after a very long and uncomfortable weekend for her we have finally found a way to provide her with some relief. The longer and faster that I rubbed the bink, the deeper her "trance" became.
