Hailey's first tooth

We don't have a tooth quiet yet, but the process is exhausting. Hailey is working on the bottom left tooth. She has a big swollen spot on her gum, sometimes there is a bump and sometimes there isn't. She has begun waking up around 4 am...we normally get up at 5, so Ryan and I are quickly becoming exhausted. Hailey is quickly learning to sooth herself by sucking her thumb and other fingers. I would love for her to finally have this first tooth, yet I know that it is just the first of many.

    It's hard to imagine, but in the twinkle of an eye, you'll be helping Hailey put that same tooth under her pillow for the tooth fairy. She'll still be waking up at 4 AM looking to see if the tooth is still there! A parents work is never done!!! Enjoy!! - Grandma Rita
